Please be aware that the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) distribution centres (DCs) and Wholesale Customer Centre (WCC) in Vancouver will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, September 30, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as a result of the current overtime ban implemented by the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU).

We are making every effort to maintain regular delivery schedules surrounding the September 30 closure. If any deliveries are delayed, the WCC will contact impacted customers directly on Wednesday, October 1.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to minimize disruption. Our teams remain committed to providing timely updates and support should any delays occur.

It is entirely up to the BCGEU what form job action will take and if the current overtime ban will impact LDB operations on future statutory holidays, including Thanksgiving on Monday, October 13.
