BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) Wholesale Operations would like to advise customers of some on-going delays impacting a selection of non-stocked import products coming into the LDB warehouse.
We have been informed by our agent warehouse partner, ContainerWorld, that their mandatory physical inventory took longer than expected to complete and they have resumed shipping product to the LDB on March 8.
As communicated last week, the agent warehouse has been experiencing delays for the past few weeks and it is expected that it will take some time to resolve the backlog.
Please note these continued delays at the agent warehouse will impact delivery times to our customers.
In an effort to reduce the delivery delays to the LDB, the agent warehouse is scheduling overtime and has decided to pick Non-stocked Wholesale Product (NSWP) cases in groups by picking by location, and not by date ordered.
This means that customers may continue to experience delays and possible cancellations if there is an extended delay between the time the order was issued and when the product arrives to the warehouse.
In the unfortunate situation that your order is cancelled due to an extended delivery delay, please reorder.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we continue to work with our agent warehouse partner to provide the necessary support to bring delivery timelines back to standard.
