The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is taking steps to update the LDB Wholesale Operations product information management database by identifying and deactivating inactive direct delivery SKUs with zero sales activity since December 2021.
This project aims to create a consistent process for inactive SKUs, ensure current data is easily accessible and improve efficient operations such as during global price change events which require price adjustments to be applied to all SKUs (active and inactive) in the LDB database.
Direct delivery SKUs with zero sales activity since December 2021 will be deactivated effective November 10, 2023.
The LDB Wholesale category management team is contacting impacted agents and manufacturers with inactive direct delivery products that will be deactivated. Please note, agents and manufacturers will continue to have the ability to reactivate SKUs at any time.
