Effective Friday, September 12, 2025, the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU) has declared an overtime ban at BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) distribution centres and head office. Within LDB Wholesale operations, this includes the Delta Distribution Centre (DDC), Kamloops Distribution Centre (KDC), the Wholesale Customer Centre in Vancouver, and vendor related support services including product, pricing, and imports.

It is entirely up to the BCGEU what form the job action will take. The LDB remains committed to maintaining service levels to the best of our ability during this time.
