As you may be aware, the bargaining group representing port workers in British Columbia have ratified the negotiated tentative agreement with their employer, ending the recent labour uncertainty at BC ports.
The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) recognizes this news is important to our customers and agents.
While there was a temporary disruption to import clearances during the temporary job action last month, there were no significant impacts on inventory levels to this point.
We will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with third party warehouses and freight forwarders to determine if there are any potential delays on import clearances.
