As you may be aware, the bargaining group representing federal public servants at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), voted in favour of a strike and could be in a legal strike position as early as Thursday, June 6, 2024.
The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) recognizes this news may be concerning to our customers and agents.
We appreciate your patience while we monitor the situation and work closely with the CBSA, third party warehouses and freight forwarders to determine if there are any potential delays on import clearances.
We will provide updates on potential impacts as they become known and important notices will be posted on the LDB Wholesale Operations website at wholesale.bcldb.com.
