Service update: telecommunications outage impacting LDB distribution centres

RESOLVED

Please be advised that an external telecommunications systems outage is impacting email, telephone and IT systems at BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) wholesale distribution centres in Delta and Kamloops.

As a result of this outage, the distribution centres are temporarily unable to receive, assemble or ship orders and some customers may experience delivery delays. 

The Wholesale Customer Centre (WCC) will contact customers directly if your shipment will be delayed.
 

Other impacts to wholesale customers

Some customers with orders shipped yesterday may not receive full shipping documentation or may receive a different bill of lading. Invoices may be delayed and will be sent once the technical issue is resolved.

In the meantime, customers with any inquiries can email the Wholesale Customer Centre Vancouver at wholesalehelp@bcldb.com or call 604-775-0681 (1-888-775-0681) during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 

Other impacts to vendors

As a result of this outage, the Kamloops and Delta distribution centres are currently unable to receive inbound shipments and we will have to cancel all receiving appointments scheduled for today.

We will inform vendors once this technical issue is resolved. At that time, we encourage impacted vendors to contact the receiving team directly to reschedule any cancelled appointments. In the meantime, vendors with any inquiries may email wholesaledemandplanning@bcldb.com.

Please note that the Delta Distribution Centre (DDC) is currently unable to receive telephone calls or email.
