Telecommunications outage impacting LDB distribution centres resolved

RESOLVED

Please be advised that the external telecommunications outage impacting the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) wholesale distribution centres in Delta and Kamloops has now been resolved.

Our distribution centre teams are working hard and scheduling additional shifts and overtime this weekend to mitigate the impact on customers and aim to return to regular service levels by Tuesday morning (July 11).

Deliveries for impacted wholesale customers

Customers who did not receive their Friday delivery should receive their order this weekend. Customers who receive Monday deliveries will still receive their order on Monday. To expedite customer orders, we will need to deliver outside of delivery windows and we are unable to provide ETAs. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.

Please note that invoices may continue to be delayed.

Rescheduling cancelled appointments for vendors

Please note regular scheduled appointments will resume starting Sunday night (July 9).

As a result of the outage, some receiving appointments were cancelled yesterday and today. Impacted vendors should contact the Delta Distribution Centre receiving team starting Monday morning (July 10) to reschedule any cancelled receiving appointments.
