As we head into the busy summer season, increased demand and major events across the region, including the FIFA World Cup and other large-scale events, along with the potential for wildfire-related disruptions, may impact operations, deliveries, and access in certain areas.
To support your business during this period, BC Liquor Distribution Branch Wholesale Operations would like to remind customers of the following ordering tips.
If possible, plan ahead and build up inventory early to meet anticipated increased demand during the summer. Early planning can also help minimize potential impacts to order fulfilment or delivery schedules.
Please ensure orders are placed on time and all payment methods are available to avoid delivery delays.
Delivery and return considerations
As order sizes increase over the busy summer season, please continue to complete an accurate case count at the time of delivery to prevent delayed or declined return claims.
Return claims increase during the busier summer months. To ensure claims are processed efficiently, please provide the necessary documentation. For example, when submitting an expired product claim, a product that is shipped with an expiry/best before date shorter than forty-five (45) days from the expiry/best before date indicated on the unit, can be claimed on Wholesale Customer Centre’s (WCC) Return Authorization Form.
