The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is taking steps to update the LDB Wholesale Operations product database by identifying and deactivating:

• Idle domestic direct delivery SKUs (defined as domestic direct delivery SKUs in Status 2.0, 3.0, or 3.1 with no sales activity reported in the past two years), and

• Aging import or domestic SKUs that have been pending activation (Status 1.0) since April 19, 2024.

Deactivating idle and aging SKUs improves product data accuracy and supports more efficient product management processes.

Idle domestic direct delivery, and aging import or domestic SKUs pending activation since April 19, 2024, will be deactivated effective June 24, 2026.

The LDB Wholesale Category Management team is contacting impacted agents and suppliers with idle domestic direct delivery SKUs and aging import/domestic SKUs pending activation that will be deactivated. Please note, agents and suppliers will continue to have the ability to reactivate SKUs at any time.
